Following the submission of the IntHEC project's Period 1 report to the EU, we are pleased to announce that the report has been approved, with the project recognised as on track. The report detailed the activities of the first 18 months of the project, which is progressing well and on course to achieve its objectives.
11th-15th July 2011 - Second IntHEC Partners' Workshop
IntHEC partners from Tanzania, Niger, UK and Belgium are meeting at UCL in Brussels this week. The workshop brings all partners together to discuss the preliminary results of the research from year 1 in Tanzania and Niger and to begin the process of designing interventions based on these results. We are looking forward to a busy and fruitful week!
12th - 16th June 2011 - World Sexual Health Congress
The IntHEC project will be represented at the World Sexual Health Congress in Glasgow this week with the presentation of three posters. These can be downloaded on our Publications page.

The population based cluster randomised household survey is now well underway in Niger and Tanzania. Personal digital assistants are being used to deliver and collect answers to IntHEC developed questionnaires which address (i) perceived reproductive health needs; (ii) RH seeking behaviour; (iii) experience of, attitudes to and satisfaction with RH services; (iv) expenditure on RH and (v) demographic information about the household. The survey will inform intervention development and form the baseline for intervention evaluation.
October 2010 - IntHEC flyers produced
The IntHEC project has produced flyers in English, French and Kiswahili for distribution in Niger and Tanzania. These can be downloaded on our Publications page.
6th May 2010 - website launch
IntHEC launched their website today. The website is going to be providing various updates and news stories, so remember to bookmark us!
